Stopped at Anchor today , only open water is around the docks were the bubbler systems are, and about 30 - 40 feet out from the area around Park. Tide/Ice combo did some damage to the Town Park dock pilings, you can see in the second pick how they were picked up by the ice and pushed over about 20 degrees, they had no bubbler system around those pilings. Another 3 - 4 weeks of this type weather and we'll be fishing.

I stayed about 45 minutes, wind was blowing off the ice , was a bit colder than it was up here. Had one follow it up, but no takers. Tide was low and just starting to come in. Watched a pair who had put their boat in , only place they could go was around the docks, and the first cut.....didn't see them get bit either.

I just saw a report saying the Northeast is 100% open...... Yea, Sean was a down a day ago, after the warn day we had . The the high winds, must have pushed the warmed up the surface water enough to break up the ice. Should stay open for good now, unless we get a week straight of temps in the teens.
